6'5" right-handed pitcher, currently throwing for the Anaheim Angels organization. Pitched for the Cedar Rapids Kernels this past season and finished with 61 strikeouts and only 68 hits given up in a total of 71 innings pitched. Spent a very successful rookie professional season pitching for the Provo Angels. Finished the season with 53 innings pitched and 55 K's with only 10 walks. Has huge potential and is considered as one of the Angel's most prized prospects. At Reno High, James was a reliable starting pitcher and infielder. Pitched a great game against Cimarron Memorial in the state tournament in 1999. Also threw two no-hitters, one against McQueen and one against South San Francisco. |
