Terry Baumgartner: Feather River College
Terry Baumgartner: Feather River College
Terry Baumgartner enters his first year as the head coach of the Golden Eagles after spending one year as the pitching coach. Prior to Feather River Coach Baumgartner spent 17 years at Western Oregon University. Coach Baumgartner spent 11 years as the leader of the successful Western Oregon baseball program, first directing the team at the age of 24 in 1995. Coach Baumgartner will be speaking on pitching.
Brian Green: UCLA
Brian Green: UCLA
Brian Green will begin his fourth season as an assistant coach with the emerging UCLA baseball program in 2008. Green serves as the Bruins’ infield coach and hitting coach and will enter his second season as the program’s recruiting coordinator. In 2007, Green guided UCLA’s hitters to a .296 batting average and 51 home runs, the fourth-highest total in the Pac-10 Conference. In his first season as the baseball program’s recruiting coordinator, Green helped land the 13th-best recruiting class in the nation in the fall of 2006, as ranked by Baseball America. Coach Green will be speaking on hitting.

As UNLV head coach Buddy Gouldsmith enters his fourth season at the helm of Rebel baseball, he has built a strong program in the desert that is among the premier schools in the Mountain West Conference and the West. Once again this year the Rebels will be among the top contenders competing for the Mountain West Conference Championship as well as a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Coach Gouldsmith will be speaking on catching.

Welcome the back-to-back college World Series champions. Lees is in his seventh season on Oregon State’s coaching staff. He became a fulltime assistant coach in 2004, having spent the 2002 and 2003 seasons as OSU’s volunteer assistant coach. In addition to overseeing OSU’s team defense, Lees supervises the Beavers’ base running and serves as the 3rd base coach. Coach Lees will be discussing infield play.
Stan Stolte: University of Nevada Stan Stolte: University of Nevada
Stan Stolte enters his 11th season as Nevada’s pitching coach and recruiting coordinator in 2007. The Wolf Pack pitching staff, under Stolte’s guidance, was one of the main ingredients that helped Nevada make appearances in the 1997, 1999, and 2000 NCAA playoffs. Coach Stolte will also be speaking on pitching. Stolte has developed 30 pitchers that have made it to the professional ranks. Prior to coming to Nevada he spent seven years as an assistant coach at The University of the Pacific. Stolte coached at Northwest Missouri State for two years before heading west to Pacific.
Jay Uhlman: University of Nevada
Jay Uhlman: University of Nevada
Jay Uhlman enters his sixth season in his second stint as an assistant coach with the Nevada baseball program this year. Uhlman previously was a student assistant with the Wolf Pack after a two-year career as Nevada’s shortstop. His primary duties are working with the defense and infielders. Uhlman returned to Nevada after serving as the head coach at Los Angeles Harbor College where he posted a 61-22-2 record in two seasons, a winning percentage of .729. The Seahawks won the South Coast Conference Championship posting a 20-4 record and the Southern California Regional Title in 2001 under his leadership which earned him South Coast
Conference Coach of the Year honors.
